Welcome to Twigs Florals! We’re a family-run floral haven nestled in the sunny heart of Encinitas, California. Founded in 2018 by Nancy and Patrick Armstrong, our mission is simple: to spread happiness through the beauty of flowers. Whether it’s a bouquet for your kitchen table or a tribute to honor a loved one, we create floral and living arrangements that turn ordinary moments into something unforgettable.

Twigs Florals is deeply inspired by the relaxed charm of our San Diego surf town roots. Our designs are whimsical yet grounded, blending playful creativity with the serene tones of nature—think soft purples, fresh greens, and a splash of sunny joy. Each piece we create celebrates the unique beauty of Mother Earth, brought to life through premium, locally sourced blooms and a dash of our signature personality.

Nancy and Patrick have been married for 22 years and share more than just a love of God’s creation—they also share four lively, wonderful kids: Samantha, Patrick, Parker, and Sydney. Growing up in a house full of flowers, succulents, and constant good vibes, the Armstrong kids have been known to lend a hand with a boutonniere here or a centerpiece there (though they’re just as likely to commandeer the snacks during a design session). 

Nancy—known affectionately as “Nanc” to her husband—is the creative force behind Twigs Florals. With over 20 years of experience working with all things living, she’s a pro at turning petals and plants into pure magic. Her whimsical floral style isn’t afraid to break the mold, whether it’s experimenting with bold color pairings, trying new techniques, or using the occasional seashell or succulent to add an extra San Diego twist. Nanc’s love for people and nature shines in every arrangement, making each one as personal and unique as the story behind it.
