Decking the Halls

Decking the Halls

Hello fellow floral enthusiasts!

It’s Nancy here and I’ve come to the realization that it that time of year again when the twinkling light go up, Mariah Carey starts her annual reign, and we all try and turn out homes into Pinterest-worthy holiday havens. In sprit of this realization, I’m excited to share a few of my favorite tips for turning your home into a holiday wonderland.

Now readers I know you are still getting to know me… but for reference you should know I HEAVILY believe in the magic of fresh flowers and greenery, especially this time of year. They don’t just look amazing—they bring in the cozy, piney scents that make your home feel like the holidays.

Alright! Ready to get festive? Lets dive in and deck the halls!

Start at the Door

I like to think of my front door as the “receptionist” of my home—it’s the first thing people see and sets the tone for what’s inside. That’s why I always hang a holiday wreath that complements my interior décor. It’s my way of making a statement before anyone even steps through the door. After all, a wreath is like the smile of your home—warm, welcoming, and impossible to miss!

Here’s what I suggest:

  • Hang one of our Winter Wreaths. They’re made with lush, fresh greenery and just the right touch of holiday sparkle

Pro tip: To keep your wreath looking fabulous all season, give it a gentle mist every couple of days. And if you have pets who think the wreath is their new chew toy (looking at you, cat), hang it a little higher—because nothing kills the holiday vibe faster than your dog playing tug-of-war with your décor.

Centerpieces: The Heart of the Table

Whether you’re hosting a big family dinner or enjoying pizza in your PJs, a centerpiece instanly makes the moment feel special, and brings that extra bit of joy.

My Advice?

  • go for one of our Long and Low Centerpieces if you’re setting a big table. They bring the WOW without blocking anyone’s view—because I like looking at my kids happy faces…. and the hubby’s :)
  • Want a casual but festive look? Sprinkle a few Bud Vases down the table. They’re playful, easy to arrange, and pack a punch in a small package.

Bonus tip: String a few twinkle lights around your centerpiece to give it that extra glow. Who doesn’t love a little sparkle? Here’s my go-to twinkle lights from Amazon

Holiday Cheer, Everywhere

One of my favorite things about decorating with flowers is that you can bring holiday magic into every corner of your home—not just the dining table or the front door.

Try this:

  • Add a fresh garland to your mantel and tuck in some seasonal flowers. It looks elegant and smells like you’ve been transported to Santa’s warehouse.
  • Pop a small Floral Arrangement in the bathroom. Trust me, your guests will notice—and you’ll feel like you’ve got your life together, even if laundry is piled up in the other room
  • Brighten up your desk with one of our Floral Subscriptions. Flowers make spreadsheets 10 times more bearable. That’s a scientific fact… probably… I don’t know Im a florist.
